Our Materials, Testing and Safety
Questions about what a toy is actually made of deserve a proper answer, not a reassuring one. This page covers our material, the independent testing behind it, and the European framework these products sit under. Anything we do not hold, I have named as well.
Our material
Everything in our silicone range is 100% platinum-cure silicone: non-porous, phthalate-free and latex-free. Because the surface has no pores, bacteria have nowhere to lodge, and cleaning stays simple as a result.
Do bear in mind that lubricants, cleaning products and accessories are formulated or built separately from our toys. They answer to their own requirements and fall outside everything described here. Each of those product pages carries its own detail.
Independent test results
We hold the following results from SGS, who tested our silicone independently:

A Safety Data Sheet is kept for each of the two silicone components.
Testing attaches to the material it was performed on. Documentation covering a given range, material or formulation does not automatically extend to another one, and we may introduce further ranges, materials and formulations in future, keeping documentation for each. Tell me which piece interests you and I will confirm precisely what applies to it.
The reports themselves stay unpublished. Individual results I will confirm in writing whenever asked.
What certification means here
Our products are consumer goods. They are not medical devices, nor food-contact articles. No EU harmonised legislation demanding CE marking or notified-body certification applies to them, and no adult-product certification scheme exists to begin with. Product-safety law is what governs them, and that is covered below.
This is worth knowing when you read claims elsewhere. A silicone tested against a given standard has met that standard's criteria as a material. Certification of a finished toy is a different thing altogether, and we will not blur the two.
Nor do we currently keep a dedicated extractables and leachables study. It sits outside the documentation we hold for this range.
European product safety
Consumer products supplied within the EU are governed by the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988. Businesses must place only safe products on the market, maintain suitable technical documentation together with a risk assessment, label goods with the required warnings and identifiers, and, where the manufacturer sits outside the Union, appoint an EU Responsible Person.

Care and use
- Choose a water-based lubricant. Anything silicone-based will break the surface down over time.
- Clean with warm water and a mild, unscented soap before and after use, then dry thoroughly.
- Look the piece over each time. Any tear, split or surface damage means it should be retired.
- Hold the flared base throughout. No toy should ever be fully inserted.
- Discontinue use should irritation occur.
- Intended for adults. Store out of the reach of children.
- No product of ours protects against pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections.
