The Known Realms™

There are eight realms on this map, and the map is the least reliable thing about them.
Borders shift. Whole stretches of coast have been drawn three different ways by three people who were standing in the same place. There are ruins marked here that nobody has been able to find twice, and one territory at the centre that has never been surveyed at all.
The names, though. The names have never once been wrong.
Every piece in the range belongs to one of them, and the realm is the reason it feels the way it does. A fault that has never closed produces density and ridge. Ground frozen hard enough to strip away ornament produces line and proportion. Water that has stopped moving produces something thick through the middle and entirely unhurried. Terrain first, form second, always in that order.
Most of what lives in the realms belongs to them and nothing more. Born to the weather, the pressure and the dark, and shaped by whatever the land happened to be insisting on at the time. A great many of them are extraordinary. None of them are marked.
A far smaller number were not born to their realm at all. They were made by it, on purpose, out of the one thing the place could never stop being, and every single one carries the same sign at the base.
A claw. Identical curl, identical set, whichever territory produced it. Our own sculpt, our registered design, cast in 100% platinum-cure silicone on every original we make.
It does not tell you where a thing came from. It tells you what it is.
Forged by the wyrm, marked by the claw.
Eight Territories. Eight Kinds Of Dark.
Seven you can walk. One will let you straight in and tell you nothing.
Emberfall Dominion
Heat here is a forming pressure rather than a temperature. Emberfall sits on a fault that has never closed, and everything shaped by it arrives dense, ridged and deliberately weighted. These are the pieces whose presence registers before anything else does.
Ironmane Plains
Scale is the whole story on the Plains. Black obsidian flats, ochre grass, no cover in any direction, and the bones of something enormous left exactly where it fell. Titans lived here once and that skeleton is one of them, which is where forged by the wyrm originally comes from. Nothing on the Plains is hidden and nothing is delicate.
The Lightless Trench
Everything in the trench is read by contact rather than sight. Pressure, texture, the slow change of a surface under the hand. Trench forms are built around exactly that: long, coiling, and meant to be understood by feel alone.
Blackmire Basin
Weight and stillness. The basin holds water that has stopped moving altogether, and the shapes that come out of it are unhurried, thick through the middle, and made for slow use rather than urgency.
The Pale Expanse
Silence and precision. In the far north there is no ornament left, because nothing decorative survives that kind of cold. What remains is line, edge and proportion, which is why Expanse designs are the most exactly measured pieces we make.
The Riftscar
A tear that opened and never closed. The violet discharge across this territory is often mistaken for a storm and is nothing of the sort. Whatever came through is still here, and the proportions of everything nearby have been subtly wrong ever since.
The Screaming Marches
Texture above everything. Carved red rock and a wind that never lets up, which is why you hear the Marches a long time before you reach them. The forms from this territory are the most aggressively detailed in the range: ridged, flared, impossible to mistake for anything smooth.
The Veiled Interior
At the centre of the map, and the only territory still unmapped. Nothing turns you back at the border. People walk in, spend a day, and walk out with accounts that are detailed, confident and completely irreconcilable with one another. So it stays blank.
Some pieces are kept back from the world. Cast in the realm colours, marked at the base, and never discounted.
Every design has an origin. These are theirs.
Most people arrive looking for a dragon dildo, a tentacle toy, a knotted fantasy piece or an ovipositor, and discover the world behind the designs afterwards. Whichever realm a piece belongs to, the core is the same: original sculpting, 100% platinum-cure silicone, considered sizing, and a focus on how an object behaves in use.
