Refund policy

1. Your Right to Withdrawal (Distance Selling)

Under Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights (implemented in each EU member state), you have the right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the 14-day withdrawal period expires. Contact us at orders@dragondildo.com with your order number and a clear statement of your intention to withdraw.

Once you have notified us, you must return the goods within 14 days. The direct cost of returning the goods is your responsibility.

2. Exceptions - When the Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply

Adult toys (hygiene exception): Under Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons. All adult toy products on dragondildo.com fall within this exception. Once the sealed packaging has been opened, the item cannot be returned. This exception is clearly disclosed at the point of purchase on product pages and at checkout.

Made-to-order merchandise (custom goods exception): Under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. All merchandise items (t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, tote bags, tumblers, and similar items) are printed and produced to order for each individual customer. This is disclosed at the point of purchase.

3. Returning Eligible Items

If your item is eligible for return (e.g. an unsealed, sealed toy returned within 14 days of delivery), you must:

  • Contact us first at orders@dragondildo.com before sending anything back

  • Return the item in its original, unopened, undamaged packaging

  • Cover the direct cost of return postage (we recommend tracked shipping)

  • Ensure the item reaches us within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal

We do not charge any restocking fee. We will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or within 14 days of receiving proof of return - whichever is earlier. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or does not conform to the contract, you are protected by your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer law, including the right to repair, replacement, or refund. Contact us at orders@dragondildo.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A description and photographs of the issue

We do not impose any time limit for reporting defects. Your statutory rights under the EU Consumer Sales Directive (2019/771/EU) and your national implementing legislation apply in full, including the two-year guarantee period where applicable in your country.

5. Unauthorised Returns

Please contact us before sending any return. Items returned to us without prior authorisation will be returned to sender at the customer's expense.

6. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved, we will process it to your original payment method within 14 business days. In most cases refunds are processed sooner. You will receive a confirmation email when the refund has been issued.

7. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or affects your statutory rights under EU consumer protection legislation or the laws of your country of residence. Your local consumer protection authority can provide further guidance if needed.
